committed to strategically positioning ourselves within society to provide support and
assistance to girls through various means:
- Facilitating skill development by offering training in trades such as seamstress work, bead
making, catering, and hairdressing.
- Ensuring educational continuity for girls who may have discontinued their schooling for any
reason, enabling them to resume at any level, whether Junior High School, Senior High School, or
tertiary education.
- Raising awareness about harmful traditional practices like female genital mutilation (FGM) and
trokosi, highlighting their detrimental health effects.
- Providing comprehensive support that empowers girls to become self-reliant and resourceful,
enabling them to assist others in turn. This assistance will be facilitated through gospel
teachings and lectures focusing on supporting the less fortunate.
- Inviting financial advisors to our center periodically to offer guidance on financial
literacy, equipping girls with the knowledge to make sound financial decisions and achieve
lifelong financial freedom.
- Implementing a comprehensive health education curriculum under the girl child empowerment
program, covering topics such as menstruation, personal hygiene, the consequences of teenage
pregnancy, preventive measures, the avoidance of early contraceptive use, fistula, sexually
transmitted infections including HIV/AIDS, early marriage prevention, child abuse and domestic
violence awareness, children's rights in Ghana, the adverse effects of harmful traditional
practices, education on the Ghanaian constitution, financial planning for the future,
environmental health, abortion and its consequences, the risks of multiple sexual partners, and
